Ballari, June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated under the theme ‘Ending Plastic Pollution’ herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari.The chief guests for the program were Dr. Kumar, Assistant Professor, KSUD.Smt. Lasyapriya M. spoke on the importance of the day. Dr. Kumar said that self-hygiene and environmental protection are the top duties of everyone. He asked questions to the children about Environment Day and got answers. The children who answered encouragingly were given pens. Cultural programs: A dance performance and an inspiring drama dance on Salumarada Thimmakka were presented by the students of class 2.The next program was a program to create awareness about the ban on plastic by the students of class 6 and 7.This program was a symbol of the Pancha Parivartana principles.The program ended with a pledge to protect the environment and ban plastic.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಹಾಡುವುದುʼ ಥೀಮ್‌ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಕುಮಾರ್‌, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಯುಡಿ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಾಸ್ಯಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಎಂ. ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಡಾ. ಕುಮಾರ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಯಂ ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಆದ್ಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಪಡೆದರು. ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪೆನ್ನುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು: ಸಾಲುಮರದ ತಿಮ್ಮಕ್ಕ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ನಾಟಕ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು 2 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ನಿಷೇಧದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು 6 ಮತ್ತು 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪಂಚ ಪರಿವರ್ತನಾ ತತ್ವಗಳ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿತ್ತು,ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ನಿಷೇಧಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
