The Chief Guests of the program were Sri Pampapati, District Co-Director of Karnataka Rajya Patanjali Yoga Peeth and Patanjali Samiti, Ballari members and Sri Virupaksha. The students spoke about the importance of Yoga Day and said that Yoga helps in physical health as well as mental peace, concentration and self-development. In the Yoga Sankalpa taken under the leadership of Smt. Sreeja, everyone took the resolution to practice Yoga every day. Under the guidance of Yoga teacher Sri Veeresh, various Yogasanas and Pranayams were demonstrated as per the protocol of International Yoga Day. The chief guests spoke about the importance of Yoga, its place in Indian culture and its necessity in a healthy life. He said that yoga is not only helpful for physical health but also for mental and spiritual development.
