Ballari, Aug. 27-29: Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari.
First day:
Ganesha was installed. Ganesh was worshipped through rituals.
Second day:
Purvik, a sixth-grade student, explained the speciality of Ganesh Chaturthi, saying that in 1893, Bal Gangadhar Tilak introduced Ganesh Chaturthi to unite people on a single platform for the freedom struggle in the society and said that Vigneshwara is the destroyer of obstacles, the giver of wisdom and knowledge. On the stage, Vismaya, a seventh-grade student, wore the costume of Gauri and Nitvik, a student of UKG, wore the costume of Ganesh. Smt. Prerana sang a song of Ganesha for the students. The Principal, Smt. Saraswati, explained the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Third Day:
Sweets were also distributed to the school children. In the afternoon, students, teachers and non-teaching staff all gathered in the prayer room and performed the immersion program of Ganesha. The school’s Sri Sharanabasava performed the puja by reciting the mantra. He performed the Mahamangalaarti by singing the Mangalaarti song ‘Sri Vighnaraja Ravi Koti Teja’. All the students took out the gunji while chanting the name of Vighneshwar and the students and teachers performed Mahapooja together.
Then the Ganesha idol was immersed.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಆ. 27-29: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನ:
ಗಣೇಶನ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಗಣೇಶನ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಎರಡನೆಯ ದಿನ:
ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಆರನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕ, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು 1893ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಗಂಗಾಧರ್ ತಿಲಕ್ ರವರು ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ತಂದರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರನು, ವಿಘ್ನ ವಿನಾಶಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ದಾತಾ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಳು. ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರಿ ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಏಳನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ಮತ್ತು ಗಣೇಶನ ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಯುಕೆಜಿಯ ನಿತ್ವಿಕ್ ಹಾಕಿ ಪ್ದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಣೇಶನ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರು ಗಣೇಶ್ ಚತುರ್ಥಿ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೂರನೇಯ ದಿನ:
ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಸಿಹಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ಗಣೇಶನ ವಿಸರ್ಜನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶರಣಬಸವ ಅವರು, ಮಂತ್ರಾರ್ಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ʼಶ್ರೀ ವಿಘ್ನರಾಜ ರವಿ ಕೋಟಿ ತೇಜʼ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಹಾಮಂಗಳಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಗುಂಜಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸೇರಿ ಮಹಾಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಗಣೇಶನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
