Ballari, Jun. 5: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari World Environment Day was celebrated under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future”.
• Sri Pampapati T. Nayak was the chief guest.
• Tulsi saplings were given to the chief guests.
• Students spoke about the importance of World Environment Day and explained the need to protect nature, conserve resources, reduce pollution and plant more trees for a healthy future.
• The honourable Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech emphasising the role of young children in environmental conservation, sustainable living and creating a clean and green world. He also shared how snakes play an important role in balancing the food chain and ecosystem.
• He also spoke about the medicinal plants found in the indigenous areas of Ballari. He shared how nature acts as a beacon for endangered species.
• Students of class 1 presented a skit on saving trees and protecting the earth.
• Students of class 6 performed a melodious group song dedicated to nature and Mother Earth.
• In the pledge ceremony led by the Principal, all the students and teachers took a pledge to protect nature, avoid plastic waste, keep the surrounding areas clean and work towards a sustainable future.
• Students of class 3 and students of class 4 participated in the evening program by seed germination and seed ball preparation

ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು “ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತ. ಹವಾಮಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಂಪಾಪತಿ ಟಿ. ನಾಯಕ್‌ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
• ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಳಸಿ ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ, ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ, ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
• ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಹಾರ ಸರಪಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮತೋಲನಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾವುಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
• ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
• ಅಳಿವಿನಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಭೇದಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಸೂಚಕವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
• 1 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಕಿಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
• 6 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಿ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಸುಮಧುರ ಗುಂಪು ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರ• ಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ, ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ, ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದತ್ತ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
• ಸಂಜೆಯ ಅವಧಿಯ ಬೀಜ ಮೊಳಕೆಯೊಡೆಯುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೀಜದ ಉಂಡೆ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 3 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 4 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
• ಬೀಜಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೀಜದ ಉಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
