Ballari, Feb. 13: Mahashivratri was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari. Sri Sharana Basava performed the puja of Shiva by chanting mantras and chanting Ashtottaras. All the students chanted the slogan “Om Namah Shivaya”. The puja was completed by Maha Mangalarati song by Smt. Renaka. The students explained the importance of Mahashivratri in detail. And performed devotional dance. They sang devotional songs. Under the guidance of Sri Sharana Basappa and Sri Yogesh, the students recited Lingashataka. On this occasion, Smt. Sarojini Naidu Jayanti was also celebrated. The students narrated the life and achievements of Sarojini Naidu. They dressed up as Sarojini Naidu and presented a meaningful dialogue. The Principal, Smt. Saraswati, gave a motivational speech highlighting Sarojini Naidu’s quality of leadership, patriotism and dedication to the nation. At the end, prasad was distributed to all the students.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಫೆ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶರಣ ಬಸವ ಅವರು ಮಂತ್ರೋಚ್ಚಾರಣೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟೋತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಶಿವನ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ “ಓಂ ನಮಃ ಶಿವಾಯ” ಎಂಬ ಘೋಷವನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೇಣಕಾ ಅವರು ಮಹಾ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ ಹಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಂಪನ್ನವಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಭಕ್ತಿನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶರಣಬಸಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತುಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಲಿಂಗಾಷ್ಟಕವನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಿದರು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರು ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಂತಹ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು.
