Ballari, Jan.12: Swami Vivekananda’s birthday was celebrated as ‘National Youth Day’ herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari. On this occasion, Shreyas, a student of class 6, dressed up as Swami Vivekananda and spoke about the special nature of the day. In his speech, he clearly explained the life of Swami Vivekananda, his ideal thoughts, and the meaning of the inspirational messages he gave to the youth. He touchingly explained the way Swami Vivekananda awakened Indian culture, self-confidence, service spirit and patriotism among the youth and said that the students should adopt his ideals in their lives. Then, the Principal Smt. Saraswati spoke and clearly explained the meaning of the important sentence given by Swami Vivekananda to the youth, “Arise, arise, do not stop until you achieve your goal.”
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಜ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ದಿನʼವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರಂತೆ ವೇಷಧರಿಸಿ ಇಂದಿನ ದಿನದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ, ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು, ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ಸೇವಾಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಯುವಜನತೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಯುವ ಜನತೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂದೇಶ “ಏಳಿ, ಎದ್ದೇಳಿ , ಗುರಿ ಸಾಧಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಡಿ” ಎಂಬ ಮಹತ್ವದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
