Ballari, Dec. 26: Mathematics Day and Ramanujan Jayanti were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari.The principal spoke about Ramanujan’s contributions to mathematics and encouraged the students to explore the subject.Explaining the significance of the day, the students shared information like, “Mathematics is fun! It is in our daily lives. We use it in shopping, counting and others. Ramanujan showed us that mathematics is beautiful.”And the pre-primary students recited the rhyme “Numbers, numbers are everywhere, we count here and have fun!”The students of class 7 presented a skit showcasing mathematics in everyday situations like shopping and cooking.The students of class 5 performed a dance on math-themed beats.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಡಿ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿತ ದಿನ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಗಣಿತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತ, “ಗಣಿತವು ವಿನೋದಮಯವಾಗಿದೆ! ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಅದನ್ನು ಶಾಪಿಂಗ್, ಎಣಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ನಮಗೆ ಗಣಿತ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು “ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು “ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳು, ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಇವೆ, ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ!” ಎನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರಾಸವನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಿದರು.7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಾಪಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಡುಗೆಯಂತಹ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿತವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಸ್ಕಿಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗಣಿತ-ವಿಷಯದ ಬೀಟ್ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
