Ballari, Jan. 26: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari. Sri K. Laxman was the chief guest for the program. After the guard of honour, the chief guest hoisted the flag. The students took out a procession and spoke about the importance of the day. The students of Class 2 presented a charming flower procession and a Taekwondo performance. The chief guest reiterated the military code that the safety and honour of the country is always more important than personal comfort and highlighted the valour and sacrifices of those who protect the nation and stressed that the strength of the nation depends not only on its army but also on the disciplined performance of its citizens in their duties. He explained the responsibilities of citizens in building a healthy and strong nation and motivated the students to adopt discipline, service and patriotism in their daily lives. The chief guests were presented with a Tulsi sapling and a memento.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಜ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 77ನೇ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ. ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾರ್ಡ್ ಆಫ್ ಹಾನರ್ ಬಳಿಕ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. 2ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಪುಷ್ಪ ಕವಾಯತು ಮತ್ತು ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ದೇಶದ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಸಂಹಿತೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವರ ಶೌರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಬಲವು ಅದರ ಸೈನ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದರ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳ ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಳಸಿ ಸಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
