Ballari, Dec. 19: Mathematics Day and Srinivasa Ramanujan Jayanti were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari. Students sang the rhyme, danced. They dressed up as a mathematician and performed a fancy dress. They shared special facts about mathematics. Importance of Math Day, Role of Mathematics in Daily Life, spoke about the contribution of Indian Mathematicians to Mathematics. Performed a short play on the role of mathematics in daily life At the end the students were awarded for their performance.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಡಿ. 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿತ ದಿನ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ರೈಮ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು, ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಗಣಿತಜ್ಞರಂತೆ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಫ್ಯಾನ್ಸಿ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಗಣಿತದ ಕುರಿತ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಗಣಿತ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವ, ದೈನಂದಿನ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿತದ ಪಾತ್ರ, ಶ್ರಿನಿವಾಸ ರಾಮಾನುಜನ್ ಅವರಂತ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಗಣಿತಜ್ಞರು ಗಣಿತಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ದಿನದ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿತದ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
