Ballari, Dec. 12: Geeta Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari. VedaBrahma Sri Govinda Bhat graced the program. The students dressed up as Lord Krishna and Arjuna and chanted the hymns. Shloka recitation competition was arranged for children and children recited Shloka. Chief Guest said that, Bhagavad Gita empowers all human beings irrespective of caste, creed, nationality to understand each and every one of them. Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada, Matsara are all present in us. Everyone should develop the power to suppress them. And he explained the Navarasas Shringara, Karuna, Huma, Vira, Awanda, Terrible, Bheebatsa, Shanta, Rudra one by one so that the children could understand them. Award certificates were distributed to the winning children who participated in Shloka Chanting as judged by the Guest and Principal.
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಡಿ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೀತಾ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ವೇದಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋವಿಂದ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಜುನನ ಛದ್ಮವೇಶ ಧರಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಪಠಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಪಠಣೆಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಪಠಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ ಜಾತಿ, ಧರ್ಮ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅರಿಷಡ್ ವೈರಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾಮ, ಕ್ರೋಧ, ಲೋಭ, ಮೋಹ, ಮದ, ಮತ್ಸರ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ನವರಸಗಳಾದ ಶೃಂಗಾರ, ಕರುಣ, ಹಾಸ್ಯ, ವೀರ, ಅದ್ಭುತ, ಭಯಾನಕ, ಬೀಭತ್ಸ, ಶಾಂತ, ರುದ್ರ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದೊಂದಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಚಾರ್ಯರ ತೀರ್ಪಿನಂತೆ ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಪಠಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
