Ballari, Nov. 30: Sports Festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ballari.
Sri Kotresh Chakrasali, District Physical Education Officer, DDPI Office Ballari graced the program.
The guests were honoured with a Marchpast. After the Flag was hoisted by the Principal, Smt. Saraswati, all the students of the channel and Gokulam took part in the procession. Head of the sports section Lasyapriya M. performed the oath ceremony and lit the Sports Lamp.
The guest Sri Kotresh Chakrasali inspired the students with his words.
The following events were organized in the annual sports meet.
* Inaugural dance by students of 3rd, 4th and 5th, balls in a basket for Pre-KG, ready for school for LKG, zig zag race for UKG.
* Umbrella Drill for Grade 1, Kabaddi Finals Boys, Balloon Blasting Grade 2, 50 Meter Hurdles Grade 1A, Cones Grade 1B, Kho – Kho Finals Girls, Hoops Game Grade 3, Kabaddi Finals Girls, Sack Race Grade 4, Taekwondo Grade 4, Kho Kho Boys, Tyre Rolling Boys Grade 5, Skipping Race Girls Grade 5, Relay Finals Girls, Relay Final Boys, 100 Meter Run for Boys and Girls, Mixed Relay, Yoga Performance as per Grade 4,

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೊಟ್ರೇಶ್ ಚಕ್ರಸಾಲಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಡಿಡಿಪಿಐ ಕಛೇರಿ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಪಥಸಂಚಲನದಿಂದ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರು ದ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಾಹಿನಿಯವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಥಸಂಚಲನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಲಾಸ್ಯಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಎಂ. ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
